I have added to the Web site-
1. A set of 17 video-clips demonstrating a range of PATN operations, from importing data to interrogating an ordination plot. I have tried hard to keep each of these files to a minimum size, but I didn’t want the quality to be poor. Please let me know what you think of them, and let me know of any other video-clips that may be useful. These clips are intended to fill the gap until we release a trial version of PATN. See http://patn.org/videoclips.htm.
2. A step by step analysis of the ‘medals’ dataset as the first ‘use-case’. This document is intended as a demonstration of typical strategies that are useful in PATN and a range of data issues that arise. See http://patn.org/use_cases.htm.
ALSO: Version 3.03 is nearing release. There have been some significant enhancements added. I’ll put out a separate notification shortly on the details.
AND: I plan to go to the Ecological Society of Australia meeting in Adeleaide December 7-10. It would be good to talk with you if you can make it. There are some interesting analystical papers!
